Growing Up

I am not sure what is going on at school, or if that is even who I should credit, but Harry is becoming uber polite and thoughtful. He makes a point of thanking us for helping him with mundane things, like fixing his belt. He asks how we slept. He is appreciative if I swing by to have lunch with him.
This morning he forgot his backpack and ran back in to get it. In the 30 seconds that it took us to leave the house, Bailey had knocked over the "Stuff Bin" and was attempting to eat up Harry's lunch. Instead of running out to tell me Bailey was a bad dog, he stayed inside and cleaned up the mess. I can't say I would have done that! He was a little bit teary eyed about what a horrible disaster it was and how heavy things were (I think there were jackets, a couple of toys and his soccer bag!), but that was the extent of the complaint. Wow! This is getting impressive!
