Prepped!

Harry is in his second week of K Prep, a two week program in Alexandria that has just kindergarteners start school for 2 weeks, without the big kids. I knew he'd love it, and I knew he was prepared, but I was concerned he wouldn't get on the bus. In fact, the night before he spiked a fever of almost 104. I think it was in large part due to anxiety. But, the next day, he insisted we get to the bus stop half an hour early, and he bounced right on. I'm pretty sure he didn't look back!
Not only does he claim he loves it, but he is a delightful little boy when he comes home in the afternoon. He has a homemade mango pop, watches a movie in my office, we chat about his day. It's great. Today,a nd on day 1 we went to The Dairy Godmother...and Harry got his library card today. He was SO excited. It took him a couple of months to shrink his signature down, but he did it. Yaaay!
