Jenny McCarthy

I guess I am slow, but I just learned Jenny McCarthy's kid is autistic. I read all of her books (well, there were two) when I was pregnant with Harry and they were the only ones that were helpful and normal. The only ones. The Girlfriends Guide gave me hives.
Anyway, after bonding with Jenny (not a word I use lightly) I was devastated to learn she divorced (a few years ago) and now I am so sad about her son. I've read a lot about autism, and it is not a death sentence by any means. But still...I am just very lucky Harry is the precocious little freak that he is.
