I Know Who That Is!
"It's Harry Potter!"
It was actually Luke Skywalker, but other's have confused the two in the past (at least in the literary world).
Empire Strikes Back was on the TV this afternoon. Harry watched for about 30 minutes. I don't know if we were more excited that he knew who Harry Potter was, that he made the comparison, or that he was interested in Star Wars...or that he actually learned something that he could discuss and explain. Luke was in "the forest" with Yoda "standing on his head" doing a balance move like Harry's. Luke was being trained to use the force, but he quits easily. Harry also gives up easily when things are hard, which is a shame because when he tries at something he does very well. Harry understood Luke was giving up, and that he didn't need to. He needed to work harder. Harry noted not just similarities with young Skywalker, but also differences, as her very seriously stated "Yeah, I can't do flips." I am sure his next thoughts were "Later. When I'm Big."
