No Little Gym for Harry today. He's waiting for soccer to start. He is, however, looking forward to sleeping at PopPop's tonight while Mommy goes out to get her drink on and crash at Auntie Shelle's.

Stuff

Harry had a blast sledding in the icy mud yesterday. I pretty much freaked out the first time he went down the hill. He calmed me down though. He loved it! I only wish we had put some snow pants on. We were both soaked.
Harry is also looking forward to a sleepover at Puppa's on Saturday, while I go out with the Jersey girls. I think they are both excited.

I am the proud mother of a very smart little boy who wants to remain 4 forever. So do I! Who doesn't? The fact that he knows how good he has it? "Priceless!"
I am glad he is happy with who he is now. Sure, he's got big plans to live with me for the rest of his life. The thought of going away to college upsets him tremendously. I've told him he can commute. I'll remind him of this in 14 years.
He enjoys his very structured life. He enjoys being sheltered from scary things (Kung Fu Panda, for example). But he branches out. He doesn't fear playdates or sleepovers. He manages his chores. His dinner plate always goes on the counter without us asking. (When no one is around) he looks out for his little sister. He's looking forward to the kindergarten bus.
I like the little guy. He knows what's up.

Flaking Out!

Harry was distraught that he refferred to snow flakes as snow flutters the other day. In actuality, there were only a coupl eof flakes, and tehy did flutter around. Just now on News 4 at 11 the weather man referred to "Snow Flowers" tomorrow I can't wait to tell Harry! He'll be pleased!

Ann has Scrabble on her table. Meredith has Chess. Now I don't feel too bad about eating dinner on top of a 550 piece jigsaw puzzle.

I'm Kind of Sad!

Miss Diana brought in a Dora playhouse for the kids this week. Harry told her he had one as well, and we were talking about donating some people for it. Harry said he could donate "Diego." Diego???? Not "Haygo"? That's the name he has used for the past 3 years! "I say Diego now."
Okay then. A couple of months ago we lost "Hoppindopter."
No more baby words!!! So sad! It's possible he still uses Hopsital and Mazagine but that's small potatos. If I ask nicely, he will amuse me by saying "Sushi." He pronounces it correctly, but his voice is still little so it's funny!
